Experienced Editor/Publisher

Editor-in-chief and publisher of Music Morsels ezine/webzine, Sandy reviewed hundreds of press kits every month and talked with dozens of musicians, managers and publicists about what works and what does not in procuring publicity exposure commitments in the music business. She was in constant contact with journalists and fellow editors, seeking new ways to acquire media coverage for musicians, songwriters and music industry businesses. Record Label CEO

Sandy is the owner of Surgeland Records which has released a limited amount of CDs over the past 15 years. Surgeland Records’ artists include The Moon, Milwaukee’s Bad Boy, NineDollarMelonBaller, Paris Keeling, and most recently a tribute CD to vocalist Kelly Keeling titled “Tune In To MIND Radio”.

Musician

Education

Sandy acquired B.S. in Marketing and M.S. in Communications degrees from La Salle University. She also has a certificate in Music Management from the Music Business Institute. Sandy is a former musician and has appeared in 7 symphonies, 3 rock bands, a folk duo, and as a solo artist. She also minored in Interpretive Dance and Journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee while majoring in music.

Mark E. Waterbury – Sr. Publicist

Serge Entertainment Public Relations/Serge Media Group recruited Mark E. Waterbury to join its management team. Mark is a former co-publisher of Rock Central, a Madison, Wisconsin music newspaper. As a free-lance journalist, he has interviewed hundreds of celebrities during the past eight years and has placed articles with publications the world over including Badger Entertainer, Keynote, and Night Sights and Sounds. His prolific writing can currently be enjoyed in Music Morsels newsletter on a monthly basis.

Mark also has a passion for photography. His collection includes Johnny Winter, Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, and The Black Crowes.

At Serge Entertainment Public Relations / Serge Media Group, Mark assists with media relations, photography, article placement and follow-up as well as bookings for contracted clients. He remains an integral part of our team.

Part-time Crew

SEPR often times hires a variety of interns, scouts and part-timers to assist with projects on an as needed basis. Most of these resources are from surrounding music schools or are recent graduates seeking additional experience in the music industry. We also have several experienced part-time booking agents on board to help form our network throughout the world.
