The Moon Press Releases | ||||||||||
Now with their new projects, The Moon and Soylent Green present a concert featuring their new musical styles on Saturday, October 24th. The concert will be held in the Harmoniezaal located at Posthuisstraat 30/32 in Tegelen, The Netherlands. The Moons music has been described as The Who meets the Beatles. Music critics around the world have this to say about The Moons music - something for all forms of rock fans - from melodic power rockers to Beatlesque to radio smash hits; cerebral lyrics brought to life by the music that conveys it; Don van Spall fires up the wah-pedal for some inspired soloing while vocalist Andrew Elt rasps his way to road-weary feel over the psychedelic metal. The Moons self-titled debut CD was released this April by USAs Surgeland Records and is distributed by Perris. For more information on The Moon, please visit their web site at http://www.serge.org/clients/TheMoon. Soylent Greens music, which has been featured on MTVs Road Rules and Real World, also reflects psychedelia and has been called electronic melodic power rock with a big bass back beat. Critics claim, the songs throb with energy and purpose; heavy with dance loops, echoes and synthesizer effects; a heady stew of metal, space rock, techno and boogie with some other unique ingredients to further whet your musical palette. Soylent Greens first CD Nutrient was independently released last year and is distributed by Suburban. For more information on Soylent Green, please visit their web site at http://www.serge.org/soylent.htm. Both The Moon and Soylent Green Cds are available at retailers and at online retailer CD Baby - www.cdbaby.com. On Saturday, October 24th, The Moon and Soylent Green join together on one stage in the Harmoniezaal in Tegelen for a musical experience. Doors open at 20:30.
